I want to have information about my student loan that is 0 balance remove from my credit report. Can I request credit bureau to close and remove information now or wait seven years?

No, it will be there, and usually you want it there to show you paid it off (if you have no negative payments with them) and it IMPROVES your credit score. Sadly, I had loans I paid off 10 years before still showing, If it's all god news it's great to keep it, if it has a few late payments, at least explain why in the future. Hope it is a all good!

I am not sure why you would want to have it removed...A zero balance actually makes your credit better than if you were still paying on it. I don't think you can have it removed.

okay here is the total skinny on credit okay. If you owed say a lot of money that you couldnt pay and you had maybe 6 years since the debt was reported to the big three(experian, equifax, and tranny union) you should definitly not pay them a red cent because if you give them 5 cents they got you by your balls for another 7 years. that is why they really threaten and cajole you into a small payment near the end of the 7 years. Nothing can get removed before 7 years and if you pay off a bad debt it still does not dissappear off your credit record! It just changes but it still looks bad to the lenders and will hurt you so dont pay them **** man. Students loans even paid off will not come off for 10 yrs! Be sure to check your credit reports every 2 months! Remember credit agencies are not on your side they make money by listing items for debt collectors. Its a paid service.

It will remain and will usually fall off after 7 years.
