Where can I go to get a student loan if I have bad credit? Also I do not have a co-signer with good

Me and most of my family have bad credit. I am looking for a student loan that will give you some extra to pay on some school related fees as well. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Where can I go to get a student loan if I have bad credit? Also I do not have a co-signer with good credit.?

Start with filing out a FAFSA(Free Application for Federal Student Aid), that will tell you what your qualified for. It is a Federal Student Loan so no credit check is required. How much you qualify for depends on which year of school your in. You might even qualify for some grants. Below is the website for the FAFSA form, feel free to email me if you have any other questions.

Have you filled out the FAFSA? fafsa.ed.gov. This will allow you to apply for federal student loans. The Stafford loan (federal loan for students) does not require a credit check and has a very high approval rate, but it all starts with filling out the FAFSA.

If you've missed your FAFSA deadline (this varies by state and school) contact the financial aid office of your school and see if they can point you to some financing options.

Students who are looking for a bad credit student loan should pick three schools they are most interested in, talk to the admissions office, and ask what is needed to apply in their school.A bad credit%26lt;!--student loan is payable only after the student has completed his or her education, and has started earning a certain minimum amount.

Since April 2005, the minimum amount that the candidate of the bad credit student loan is required to earn has also increased. Bad credit student loans are available as both secured and unsecured loans--%26gt;depending on whether you are a homeowner or not. The rate of interest to be paid on unsecured bad credit student loans is higher than that on secured bad credit student loans. This is because the secured bad credit student loans are backed by your home as a security.
