With federal grants, is the application form the same as the student loan application?

when i went to my local community college and asked about gov. grants they handed me a student loan form...i dont want student loans so are they the same form ? where can i get one?

In order to be considered for all types of financial aid, you need to fill out the FAFSA. That will determine your EFC (estimated family contribution). That amount is what is needed to determine what you are eligible for. The lower the number the more you would qualify for.
